From the US (Maryland & Massachusetts), Rosa has many years of Ambergris Caye experience and has a small company called Helping Hands. You’ll be introduced via email to Rosa after your booking is confirmed and she would be happy to help you (at no extra cost) with tours, golf carts, & more!
Charlene, Concierge
Charlene is from Belize & has lived on the island for many years, has experience in the hospitality industry and is active in the community. Charlene will welcome you to Sunset Beach, give you an orientation to the resort and area, and make sure you have a great stay.
Chapin, Caretaker
Chapin is originally from the Toledo district of Belize, but has lived on the island for over 20 years. He helped build the Sunset Beach buildings so literally knows the resort from the inside out! Chapin is available should there be any questions or problems with the facilities. You’ll see him working non-stop to keep the resort looking as beautiful as it does and if you’d like a freshly cut coconut, just ask him!
Manolo, Cab Driver Extraordinaire
Manolo is our cab driver of choice — always there when you need him! We’d be happy to arrange to have you met you at your arriving San Pedro flight or water taxi to take you to Sunset Beach–it’s always nice to have a friendly face meeting you! He is also just a phone call away should you need a cab (that fits up to 6 passengers plus luggage!) while on the island.

Janet, Housekeeping
Originally from Guatemala, Janet has been living on Ambergris Caye for 20+ years. She’s been working with Sunset Beach since 2006 and thinks that the guests and owners here are the best on the island! While she normally is hard at work behind the scenes, she is happy to get to know guests a little when she has the chance; she’ll let you practice your Spanish also! Your condo will of course be spotless on arrival and if staying more than 9 nights, it will be cleaned again during your stay. If you would like additional housekeeping at your own expense, that is easily arranged.

Looking for some pampering right at your accommodations? You are in good hands with either Marfa or Laura! Either can bring a team as well if multiple people would like spa services at the same time. Please ask for rates depending on the vendor & service; some may be cash only.

Irma & Ozzie, Laundry
Irma (camera shy) & her husband Ozzie (pictured) provide a pick-up/drop-off laundry service; information on this service is provided on site. (If you dine at the Blue Water Grill, you just might see Ozzie there too!)
